'N5K is too small to see Basketmouth and making people laugh is predominantly a male thing' - Comedian, SLK tells LITV
Stand-up comedian and actor, Olu Salako, popularly known as SLK has said that Nigerian shows are underpriced because people don't pay as much as they should. Speaking with LITV 'On Air' crew in a recent interview, the comedian said for a bigger brand like Basketmouth, Nigerians are supposed to pay more than N5,000 for regular fee to attend his show. The Stand-up comedian said that one of his friends paid $120 to attend a comedy show organised by Trevor Noah in Australia. He also said that making people laugh is predominantly a male thing as there are not many women doing comedy in the World.
